Watch a movie in Singapore, this also censor, that also censor, but one postive aspect of watching a movie in Singapore is the fact that you get to catch it much much earlier than people elsewhere in the world. So in a sense, we get to watch first, but they get to watch more. I haven't watched that hit movie, which sounds something along the lines of Borat: Cultural Learnings of America to Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, and which traces Borat's adventure in the country he affectionately calls "the US and A", but to us is simpliefied as "USA".
But before we get too preoccupied with Borat, here's another hit comedy about to hit the big screens. Yes, that's Mr Bean which you see below, and the movie's called "Mr Bean's Holiday". Now for those people who have recently watched "The Holiday" starring Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet, I'm sorry to let you know you've watched the wrong Holiday movie. Rowan Atkinson's the real deal, and we get to watch it in Singapore on 22 March 2007, whereas our good friends in the US and A get to catch it on 28 September --- a full 6 months later, while the blokes in Leeds (and the rest of England) get to see Bean on 30 March --- a full week after us. Aren't we fortunate?
Back to the present, Leeds Utd had better win tomorrow .... otherwise, the future for them ain't gonna be bright, ain't gonna be white no more.
