Yesterday 7pm was the first time in like over a month I actually went for discussion session, but yeah, bo pian, had to go to collect my midterm. I didn't think it was feasible to ask Annie to collect it for me, for homework yes, but I didn't think so for a midterm. But I was wrong, you just had to rummage through the pile to find your one, so I guess, I should have asked her to collect it for me still. Never mind, treat it as a one-week break for you ... hahaha. But yeah, I realize that the bloody TAs cannot bloody mark and grade for nuts, so now, I do have to talk to my professor regarding certain inconsistencies in my midterm grading. So for the first time in like a year, I am actually going for an instructor office hour. Next Friday, I am gonna pop by his office, hoping that he gives me the midterm credit I think I deserve. I know he will, cos my reasoning makes sense ... and the TA who graded qn 3 is a bloody cock or cockess (if she is female). An exhausting week is finally over ... tho I have a feeling it's all gonna repeat itself next week again. Aiya .... all the sacrifices I have to make.
It's my roommate's 21st birthday tomorrow. The original plan was to have dinner on Friday nite, and then a cake thingy later in the nite closer to 12am. However, I found out that she had to go New York for an interview apparently, so we cancelled that dinner and decided on the cake thingy on Saturday nite instead, after she returns. So basically, I had to send out an email asking people to keep Friday nite free, then a few days later, I had to send out another email apologizing. Seriously, I apologize for fuck? But nevermind, I am a nice guy. So just now during lunch, she told me she'd be flying to New York tmr morning instead, so not knowing what I was doing, I had to call the others to ask if they wanted dinner tonite instead, and kana kao pei somemore. So we'll see what happens tonite. I'm sure we'll go somewhere nice for dinner, it's just how many people will turn up. Seriously ah, all you people out there will be saying this is not the Yongchun we know lor ... more likely for him to just wish Serene happy birthday, and go back to playing his computer games, or watching TV. But a 21st birthday only comes once, so being the nice roommate that I am, I shall spend a little effort coordinating this. But only this once ... next year dun tell me it's ur 21st birthday again ah! Just j/k ...
And yah, about the SAMSU card thingy, we actually tried using it at Lao Sze Chuan today, and it worked lor. I just had to explain to the guy what the card was, and we got a small discount on out meal. So yah, the card does have some utility value after all. Our efforts did not go to waste.
