Thanksgiving came and went ... Christmas is next. But yeah, this year's Thanksgiving was really fun. Our own Regents Thanksgiving party had its fair share of turkey, roast ducks, roast beef and mashed potatoes, champagne and root beer. Not surprisingly, since only the guys cooked, there weren't any vegetables ... the closest thing to that was potatoes, and that's vege enough. Thank you very much. And I played really nice host to friends from Berkeley and CMU ... now that's something that doesn't happen often. And after that, poker nite was fun. All hail the new KOP - king of poker. Rather miraculously, I won both rounds. With the buy-in being $5, and 6 people playing, with only the top 2 getting the cash, I managed to win $30 last nite. At this rate, and with this skill, who needs ATMs animore? Never mind the sleeping at 4am eventually ...
