I have been randomly surfing blogs of frenz and all of them have been putting up pictures of their Thanksgiving escapades. I guess people do like looking at pictures, rather than words, unless of course, they are penned by me. But I am in no mood to pen anything write (right) now, and so I shall succumb to the temptation of putting up a picture of a few of us post-Thanksgiving at this poser restaurant called NINE. The ambience and poserish image is rather cool ... in addition to the fine-dining area, there are couches for watching football and basketball on large screen TVs, and several bars for alcohol-sipping. What's even more amazing is the presence of small-screen TVs located above each urinal in the men's toilet, so that you can follow whatever game on ESPN even as you are doing your private business. Gosh, never have I taken such a long pee ... standing there even when I am actually done with my business, just waiting for the ball to go out of bounds so I can quickly rush back out. I am not sure about the situation in the female toilet ... they probably have some TV screen in each cubicle too, but that sounds rather far-fetched. The only terrible thing is the location of this place ... located 8 blocks west of Michigan Ave, thus making the long hike from the river even more treacherous amidst the sub-zero degree Chicago weather. Ok, enough of bs for now, lemme actually get to posting the only pic I have of all of us together posing in the poser restaurant.
I do apologize for the small size of the pic, but this is necessary in order for it to fit into my layout decor. Too big a pic would cover my really cool background pic; too small would make it rather stupid to put up, wouldn't it? So here's a description of everyone in the pic, machiam some soccer team, minus 3 sending-offs.
